Leicester City v Nottingham Forest FA Cup Third Round Replay Tips

Leicester host Nottingham Forest in the King Power Stadium this evening (credit: Wikipedia)
Neither Leicester City nor Nottingham Forest are in form at the moment and both are capable of conceding when they meet in the King Power Stadium tonight.

Helmond Sport got us off to a flyer yesterday, restricting themselves to a single goal to easily make our lay of under 3.5 goals a successful one. I have identified an East Midlands derby as an avenue to make further profits this evening.

Leicester are down in 15th place in the Championship at the moment after a run of form that has seen them pick up just one league win in the last seven. Nigel Pearson has returned to the club after Sven Goran Eriksson left by mutual consent last October but he is yet to get the Foxes firing. Second favourites to get promoted pre -season, The Foxes splashed the cash in the transfer window, however it hasn't really paid off yet. Looking at their recent results, Leicester's last seven league matches have seen both teams score, and in all competitions, seven of their last eight have been the same.

Nottingham Forest are another club under-performing this season. Last year's play-off semi-finalists are currently floundering in the relegation zone. The Forest faithful have seen seven wins, three draws, 16 defeats and a 'wally with a brolly' so far this year, and you can't help but feel just a little bit sorry for them. Steve Cotterill is now in charge and after a promising start, things have slipped lately and his team have won just once in their last 10 in all competitions. Their main problem has been goals, as with only 21 scored this campaign, they are the second lowest scorers in the division. Robert Earnshaw left in the summer and he's not been replaced. Marcus Tudgay is their top scorer but he's only got five to his name from 19 appearances. But I just have a feeling that they will get on the score sheet tonight as the Cup could prove a welcome distraction from their league woes and manager Cotterill will make sure his side are well up for this derby with one of their great rivals.

This has all the makings of a cracker as both teams are closely matched and neither side will want extra time, so with both teams not to score being available to lay at 1.95.  I feel it's the best value lay of the day.
