Juventus finally look like coming out of their slump, and four wins out of five game is decent form, even if the loss to Palermo a fortnight ago was tough for the fans to take. They should have no problems against Siena this afternoon, and odds of 4/11 (Bet365) suggest as much.
Fans of the Old Lady will probably like the look of odds against (11/10, Bet365) for the home side to beat the one goal handicap, a feat they achieved against Fulham during the week, who are much better than Serie A’s bottom club.
Siena are on a four game unbeaten run, their best form of the season, although in that spell they have faced sides around them, or hosted clubs who are currently out of form. It would take a disaster from Juve to allow the visitors to win (9/1, VictorChandler) or even leave the Stadio Olimpico with a point (7/2, Bet365).
Vicenzo Iaquinta (4/1, Bet365) may be back for the home side, and he is a massive boost. If he plays the ninety minutes, he will undoubtedly get on the score-sheet at some point (11/10, Bet365). Not only is Juventus’ most prolific striker back, but their best supplier of crosses Mauro Camoranesi (12/1, SportingBet) is also back, after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Along with Diego (6/1, SportingBet) he will run the midfield, and Siena could be on the end of a heavy defeat if the Juventus attack click into gear.
A two-nil (11/2, SkyBet) or three-nil (17/2, SkyBet) win would be a massive boost for Juventus, and in truth wouldn’t be a disaster for Siena, who will be expecting to take nothing form today’s game, and will have earmarked other matches in their run-in as better opportunities to pick up points.
