Alan Curbishley and Gary Megson are the 6/1 joint favourites to be the first Premier League manager to part company with their club this season, according to bookmakers Ladbrokes.

But Newcastle's Kevin Keegan and recently promoted Tony Pulis and Tony Mowbray - all priced at 10/1 - are the ones attracting the early money.

Keegan made an unconvincing return to St James' Park before stabilising the team and then winning just one of his final five games in charge last season.

And with changes behind the scenes at the North East club he may not be given long to impress during the new campaign.

Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "It is a trickle rather than a flood at the moment, but there are a few punters out there who are not confident that Keegan will be given long."

Next Premier League Manger to leave (odds from Ladbrokes)

Alan Curbishley 6/1
Gary Megson 6/1
Paul Ince 8/1
Roy Hodgson 8/1
