Young centre-back dismisses transfer rumours

Rangers’ 17-year-old central defender Danny Wilson, has dismissed rumours linking him with a move away from the club.

Wilson has impressed whilst deputising for the absent Madjid Bougherra, in both the league and Champions League, and a number of Premiership clubs are believed to be interested in luring the youngster away from cash-strapped Rangers.

However, Wilson says he is ignoring the speculation, and instead concentrating fully on his football:

“It's not anything I take great notice of,

"It has nothing to do with me. I'm just young and trying to break in to the team.

"Anything to do with me moving away is out the question. At the moment, I am just trying to do my best for Rangers."

Rangers are evens (WilliamHill) to be SPL Champions for a second successive season
