Both sides have been handed tough tests in the first stage of the knockout phase, with the Gunners facing a two-legged encounter with Italian champions AC Milan, while Chelsea will meet another Serie A outfit in Napoli.
Holders Barcelona will take on German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Levekusen over two legs, while their Spanish rivals Real Madrid will be confident of progressing to the last eight after being paired with Russian club CSKA Moscow. In a clash of former winners, French giants Marseille will meet Inter Milan of Italy.
