Arsenal captain knows free-scoring Gunners have a long way to go

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas says he is refusing to get carried away with his side’s free scoring start to the season, or his own impressive form.

Arsenal have scored an outstanding 36 goals in their first eleven Premier League games, and Fabregas himself has already bagged nine strikes in all competitions. However, the Spaniard wants to ensure that a very young Arsenal squad does not get carried away with a good start, pointing out that no title is won simply on pre-Christmas form

Fabregas said:

"We do worry about the goals coming to an end. We talk about what will happen if they stop.

"It is great when we are scoring so many goals and we have a threat all over the team, but we know that we have to keep that right the way through.

"There is no point scoring goals like we are until December and then it ends. That will not win the title.

"So the fear that the run will come to an end is keeping us focused because we want to win the title and we know we have to carry on."

Arsenal are 10/3 (Bluesq) to win the Premier League title
