What will matter to them is that Inter are, according to reports at least, ready to pay £20.7 million in January for the Argentine.The reason a deal with AC Milan has yet to be struck despite hunger from both parties is the Serie A champions' reluctance to buy the 27-year-old this month, instead trying to convince the Premier League leaders and 1.53 favourites to initially let him leave on loan.Manchester City understandably aren't keen, so the Rossoneri have proposed a number of clauses to talk them round, such as a locked buy-out for if he plays half their games or one that forces them to cough up once they are able to sell Alexandre Pato or Robinho.However, neither option guarantees the FA Cup holders the payout that Inter are now thought to be offering, so they naturally prefer that idea, the problem being that Tevez is more open to the other.If Massimo Moratti can achieve a breakthrough though, it could transform the fight for first, as Inter are already in from 70.0 to 17.5 after closing to within eight points of AC Milan and Juventus.
