Chelsea boss staying with system home and away

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti says he is happy to stick with his diamond formation away from home, despite the system not proving as successful as it has been at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have proved unbeatable at Stamford Bridge this season, with five wins out of five matches thus far, yet they have struggled somewhat on their travels, suffering defeats in their last two away matches, to Wigan and Aston Villa.

However, Ancelotti claimed that he won’t change the team’s style when they play away:

"We want to maintain the same system. We follow this way at home and away.

"The last two matches away were not good for us, but we don't want to change because of that. This system is very good away from home.

"It will be a different game to the game in the Carling Cup. Bolton can play different, but we want to play at the same level.

"To win this Premier League is a very long race. If it's possible to maintain being top of the table, then that's good. It means we've started the season well."

Chelsea are 5/11 (Expekt) to beat Bolton Wanderers on Saturday at the Reebok
