Manchester United are the 15/8 favourites to win this year’s Carling Cup, ahead of Manchester City at 3/1.

With the two Manchester sides hogging the top two spots in the Premier League, the pair are 4/1 with William Hill to meet in the final of the Cup.

With two non-Premier League sides still in the competition, they are understandably outsiders to win with Cardiff 16/1 and Crystal Palace 66/1.

Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly told Bettingpro.com: “Manchester United and City have been on top form this season and it is feasible to envisage the pair meeting in the Final.”

Arguably the stand out tie of the quarter-finals is the Arsenal-Manchester City match and Hills make City 8/13 to qualify for the semis, with Arsenal 6/5.

Latest Carling Cup odds:
