Blackpool FC v Everton FC trader tips – there could be another Yak attack

David Moyes’ team unbeaten in last five matches and could prove too strong for Tangerines

Being dumped out of the Carling Cup at Griffin Park proved to be the turning point of Everton’s season, with the Toffees not tasting defeat for the entire month of October and its unlikely to be an unhappy trip to the seaside for the visitors on Saturday.

Everton are available at 17/20 with Bet770 to win this match and should oblige with the three points because a) they are a better team, b) they are unbeaten in five and c) their opponents only managed to win their first home match of the season last Monday because West Brom were down to nine men quicker than you can say Pepsi Max Big One.

Football is of course a funny old game but the Blues should have the upper hand and their defence is tight to the extent where a Toffees win to nil could be worth playing at odds of 9/4 (Ladbrokes) – Rafael van der Vaart is the only player to score against them in the past five matches.

Then again, we are talking about the box of tricks that are Blackpool, a team that have won at Anfield this term and do like to attack teams thanks to Ian ‘Gung Ho’ Holloway. Those traders at Pinnacle Sports are taking on the Tangerines with their 4/1 quote which might be to some people’s liking.

Even so, the likeable Yakubu’s hard work finally paid off against Stoke with a goal and the Nigerian won’t want to wait too long before he follows this up with another goal. The word bustling could have been invented for the Yak and he is 6/1 with 888sport to strike first and set Everton on their way.

Then again, there’s no player in a blue shirt that can hold a torch to Tim Cahill in the ‘leaping salmon’ category and the Aussie will be popular at 13/2 with Stan James to score first or last (we prefer last and can picture Timmy nodding home to give Moyes’ men a 2-0 win).
