Givet arrived on loan at Ewood Park in January and having impressed during his 14 Premier League starts for the club was rewarded with a permannt transfer. The 27-year-old Frenchman has agreed a four-year contract with the Lancashire side. The transfer fee has not been revealed but is expected to be in the region of £5 million. Givet started his career at Monaco before joining Marseille in 2007, and has now become Blackburn's first signing of the summer transfer period.
