Ladbrokes are expecting Mervyn King to inject yet more money into Britain's struggling economy in 2012.

The Bank of England are odds-on to carry out further quantitative easing this year according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies make Mervyn King and co just 1/2 to inject yet more cash into the economy after the latest £50bn round.

Should the next injection come the odds suggest it will be another hefty 50-75bn at 6/5, while it's also fancied that the total QE come the end of 2012 will be between 300 & 400bn.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro:

"It's simply a licence to print money as far as King is concerned. We're betting this isn't the last of the QE this year."
