The best 7 pictures from Italy's Euro 2012 Group C draw with Croatia

Italy and Croatia kept their Euro 2012 hopes alive with a draw on Thursday although both sides will feel that they could have won the game.

Italy and Croatia both went into Thursday's match in Poznan knowing that a win would put them in a commanding position to reach the quarter finals at Euro 2012 but they also knew that defeat would see their chances of progressing from Group C significantly reduced, with tournament favourites Spain expected to top the group.

It was, therefore, no surprise that it was something of a stilted match in the Municipal Stadium with Italy unable to hold onto their first half lead and then Croatia unable to capitalise once they had equalised in the second period.

Andrea Pirlo's 39th minute free kick - the first at the European Championships since 2004 - gave Italy a deserved lead but the Azzurri then attempted to defend their advantage but were undone with just over 20 minutes of the match remaining when Mario Mandzukic scored his third goal at Euro 2012 to level the game at 1-1.

The draw meant that Paddy Power were once again forced to refund all losing First/Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets on a Euro 2012 match due to their 'Score Draw' mobile money back offer.
