Related Articles See all X Factor news Share it Pin It We have all the latest X Factor odds and latest betting as Janet Devlin looks like she could be next eliminated in the 2011 X Factor betting.Register with Ladbrokes and get your free £50 bet on any of the X Factor markets.Janet Devlin seems to be the latest act to fall under the curse of failing to live up to the strength of her early performances and is now among the favourites to be the next X Factor elimination.After starring in her first audition, Janet was instantly made favourite to win the X Factor and followed up with some more sparkling performances at boot camp and during the judge’s house stage.However, her star is certainly fading as the business end of the competition nears and she is just 3/1 in the X Factor odds to be the 11th elimination and fail to make it into the final five.Part of her problem appears to be that she has been found to be a bit one dimensional, with voters getting a little bored of her predictable repeated slow ballads and then also failing to like her attempts to do something a bit different.Meanwhile, she may also have benefited from having a different mentor, as there are doubts about how well she has been managed by Kelly Rowland.Not only has Kelly already missed one week of the live shows because of illness, she has spent further time away from her acts in the US and been busy promoting her own album.There are further suggestions that Kelly favours another of her acts Misha B and is therefore spending less time helping Janet in getting her performances right.In her favour, Janet is arguably the only remaining act who has not produced a show-stealing performance as yet and if she can rectify this then her support may pick up again.It is certainly beneficial to improve and grow through the X Factor, rather than peak too early and Janet is not the first person that has been impacted by this problem.The Risk is one example from the current series, while Aidan Grimshaw and Mary Byrne have also failed previously to really build on strong early performances.
