X Factor 2011 betting tips - Misha to survive again?

Misha Bryan is 2/1 to be eliminated from the X Factor this week.
Misha Bryan was surprisingly saved from elimination by the public last weekend but she is unlikely to be so lucky in this week's X Factor.

The X Factor continues to defy logic with the public choosing to save the perennially unpopular Misha Bryan last weekend and put Amelia Lily and Craig Colton, two of the favourites to win the competition, up for the elimination. The judges opted to save Amelia Lily, who is now the 15/8 favourite at bet365 to go this weekend.

However, there were mitigating circumstances last weekend. The X Factor producers decided to screen a VT detailing the hardship suffered during Misha's 19 years, which was a clear attempt to win the self-confessed "bully" some sympathy. It worked like a charm and she was saved by the public vote.

That won't happen this weekend and she seems fairly certain to be one of the bottom two, with Paddy Power offering a best price of 8/15 that Bryan faces a third sing off of the series. The question is; will the judges send her home?

Kelly Rowland has made no secret of the fact that Misha is her favourite of the girls but it is unlikely that Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa will feel the same, especially if she comes up against Little Mix or Marcus Collins.

However, it could get more tricky if Misha has to sing against either Amelia Lily or Janet Devlin. The former is 4/5 at Sky Bet to be in the bottom two and that price may be worth taking. Amelia has a lot of supporters but the fact that she hasn't participated in every show means that she is vulnerable and there is perhaps the feeling that she can 'make it' without the help of a place in the X Factor final three.

Predicting what will happen to Devlin is a bit more difficult. The Irish teenager was the early favourite to win the X Factor 2011 but Gary Barlow's criticism that she is "boring" seems to have stuck and it now looks impossible for Janet to win the competition. She has admitted to being lonely in the X Factor house and reportedly has failed to bond with the other contestants, which could result in the producers losing interest in promoting her.

“I’ve always been a loner,” she said. “I’m not interested in making friends or getting people to like me. I’m here for the music and that’s it.”

Janet added: “I miss having intellectual conversations. I don’t have anything to talk to about astral projection and theory of the universe, things like that.”

It is 10/3 at Boylesports that Janet is eliminated this week and that wouldn't be a huge shock, particularly given what has happened in recent weeks.
