Ladbrokes are taking bets on who North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's mystery partner is with 'girlfriend' the hot favourite.

The identity of Kim Jong-un's mystery accomplice is now the subject of an international gamble according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies started accepting bets on her identity earlier in the week following a series of enquiries on twitter and following the early exchanges 'Girlfriend or mistress' is now the odds-on favourite at 5/6. 

Despite rumours circulating she may be his wife already that's done little to motivate punters to back 'wife' at 3/1 while sister can't be ruled out at 16/1. 

Brother (500/1), Grandmother (500/1) and Robot (1000/1) are all massive outsiders but not without their supporters. 

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro: 

"We've had speculators get in touch from all over the world. The money says they pair are romantically linked one way or another."
