Bookies Paddy Power today slashed the odds on a White Valentine’s this year to just 3/1 after love-struck punters rushed in to put their money on the cold snap lasting until February 14th!

As Ireland woke up to a thick blanket of snow and Met Eireann issued severe weather warnings, punters were quick to avail of the 8/1 on offer that 2009 will go down in history as the coldest year on record, and if that wasn’t enough to make you shiver, it’s just 4/1 with Paddy Power that Dublin experiences another ‘big snow’ similar to that of 1982!
