Newly crowned Big Brother winner Josie Gibson has overtaken Brian Dowling as the red-hot favourite to become the Ultimate Big Brother winner.

The 25-year-old from Bristol is now just 11/10 at Paddypower to see off competition from previous housemates and celebrities and win the ultimate crown. 2001 Big Brother winner Brian Dowling has now slipped to 5/2 in the betting followed by Nikki Grahame at 7/1, Chantelle Houghton at 8/1 and Big Brother 5 winner Nadia Almada at 10/1.

But it’s racing pundit John McCririck who most punters are eager to keep in the house. The brash tic-tac man is determined to get evicted as soon as possible but Paddy Power are betting it could be quite some time before the bearded presenter gets the boot. It’s just 9/4 that McCririck will stay in the house for 9-11 days out of the scheduled 18 and 5/1 he lasts more than 16!

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, explained to bettingpro “There were gasps of horror as Big Mac went back in the Big Brother house last night. He caused havoc with his housemates five years ago and this year will be no different. Big Brother fans will keep him in for two good reasons – The first, to annoy him, and the second, to watch the other housemates suffer!”

Paddy Power are also offering odds on which housemate will shed a tear over Big Mac first. Tantrum throwing Nikki is the 9/4 favourite followed by Dubliner Brian at 5/2 and high heel lover Nadia at 3/1. 
 
Meanwhile Makosi Musambasi is the 6/4 favourite to get evicted first.
