William Hill have cut Ulrika Johnsson from 6/1 to 5/4 favourite to replace Fiona Phillips on the GMTV sofa following an overwhelming vote of support from punters, who think she has what it takes.

The only other contenders in the betting that have attracted a bet are Carol Vorderman at 10/1 and Myleene Klass now 5/1

"Punters are sure that Ulrika has already got the gig and have been backing her even at a short price but the unemployed Carol Vorderman looks a decent bet at 10/1," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
