Despite rumours, Darren McMullen is tipped to still be the host of The Voice next season, priced as the $1.50 favourite to continue the role with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au.

Andrew Gunsberg is next in the market at $2.50, with Daniel MacPherson also given some chance at $9.00.

“There have been rumours, but we think Darren is still the man for the job,” sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson told Bettingpro.

“Andrew Gunsberg has the runs on the board from his days at Australian Idol and would be a great replacement, but at this stage our market suggests Darren will still be there for season 2.”

In competition betting, Karise Eden remains the favourite at $1.90, with former favourite Rachael Leahcar continuing to drift from $4.50 to $5.50.
