The Libertines are the 6/4 favourites to reform out of a selected group of bands, with Oasis the 25/1 outsider

The Libertines are the 6/4 favourites with Ladbrokes to follow Steps and the Stone Roses and reform next.

In reaction to the spate of high profile band reformations the book is now open on who will get back together next for a live show/tour and the bookies make Doherty and co the hot favourites. Blur are next in at 2/1 from The Verve at 4/1.

The Jam, The Smiths and Oasis are all 25/1 outsiders.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro: "We'll be on the road to ruin if The Libertines reform. Blur are also fancied and the odds suggest the Gallagher brothers won't be patching things up any time soon."
