The Social Network’s David Fincher is in pole position once again and it looks as though we may see the top two Oscars split between the two films.”Geoffrey Rush, who plays King George VI’s unorthodox speech therapist in The King’s Speech, caused an upset by beating Christian Bale to the best supporting actor gong and the veteran Australian actor has been cut to 7/2 (from 9/2) to take the top honour on February 27. The King’s Speech won all the acting categories in which it contended but Helena Bonham Carter remains a 7/1 shot for Oscar glory, with Melissa Leo, who was not shortlisted for the BAFTA, 1/3 short priced favourite to add the Oscar to her Golden Globe and SAG awards.
