Could Wogan return for the BBC’s Eurovision coverage?
Rumours abound that Terry Wogan is to return to the BBC’s Eurovision coverage this year, and if he does, then bookmaker WilliamHill face mjor payout, after a string of bets on the popular presenter forced the firm to cut the odds on Wogan’s return from 100/1 to just 8/1
Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams told Bettingpro:
"If Wogan is back we are going to take a monster five figure hit before the
competition even starts,"
William Hill have also reported a serious gamble on Israel winning Eurovision, with some big bets being placed in the last two days.
The firm have been forced to cut the Israeli odds of winning the competition from 20/1, to 5/1 favourite.
