X-Factor looks like becoming a one horse race as Rhydian continues to outperform his rivals, and Coral now make him the red-hot 1/2 favourite to emerge victorious.

Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell spent much of Saturday night's show suggesting Dannii Minogue was out of her depth and criticising her song choices but she must be doing something right as she is 2/5 favoiurite with Coral to be the winning manager.

"It may be a sub-standard X-Factor in terms of quality but betting interest in the programme has held up well although most of the money is predictably going on the favourite Rhydian", said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.
