Bookie Paddy Power is offering odds of 12/1 that Peaches Geldof’s shotgun wedding in Las Vegas lasts less than a month. 

Following the teenager’s shock marriage to boyfriend of four weeks Max Drummey Paddy Power is offering odds on how long the conjugal pairing last – and the odds don’t suggest it will be happily ever after for the inexperienced youngsters.

The bookie thinks the marriage is most likely to last no more than two years at 2/1 and a less likely 8/1 for the happy couple to still be together in four years time. Its 9/4 Geldof and Drummey are no more by this time next year.

Darren Haines, spokesman for Paddy Power, said: “It will be interesting to see whether punters think this is true love or true publicity. Peaches seems to enjoy the idea of being the centre of attention but once the fuss dies down we’re not convinced it will be long before the rails come off and she’s looking for her next headline making adventure.”
