One Direction are offered at 20/1 to achieve the Christmas number one single, as it’s debatable whether Simon Cowell would allow them to go up against the winner of this year’s X-Factor. Hills make the winner of the show the 1/2 favourite to grab the festive top spot, while Adele is the 4/1 second favourite.
