Miss Ireland Emma Waldron wins Miss Talent to secure final 15 place in the competition

Miss Ireland Emma Waldron has literally fiddled her way into favourite position to be crowned this year’s Miss World after wowing judges in Sanya China with her electrifying violin playing.

The down to earth teacher from Kildare is now just 6/1 with Paddy Power to be crowned Miss World after captivating onlookers with her rendition of Chinese song, An Chualainn and an Irish Reel and further impressing the Chinese audience when she addressed them in their native tongue.

By winning Miss Talent Emma has secured herself a place in the final fifteen, and now looks to have a fantastic chance of bringing the crown home with Paddy Power placing her second only to Miss Norway who has odds of 11/8.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power told Bettingpro:

“Talented Emma has proved that she’s not just a pretty face and she’s now one of the firm favourites to steal the crown on Saturday night.”

Meanwhile, Miss Northern Ireland Lori Moore is also amongst the top ten tipped to impress at 12/1 having also secured a place in the final fifteen.

The 60th Miss World Final will take place on Saturday 30th October in the city of Sanya, located in China’s Hainan province.
