Stan James have opened a market on whether Michael Jackson will have a Number 1 single in 2009 following the announcement of his 50 sell-out concerts at the O2 Arena beginning on July 8.

The company bet Evens that he will have a re-released single make Number 1 in the singles chart by the end of the year and 8/11 that he doesn't. It's 7/2 that he will have top the charts with a previously unreleased song.

Stan James' head of PR Charlie McCann: "Ticket sales suggest that, despite his rather chequered past, Jackson still has legions of fans in Britain and he has confirmed that he will sing many of his old classics when the action begins mid-summer.

"We think he is sure to release at least one of those classics later in the year and when rather than if "Jackomania" hits Britain then the Evens may look a very big price."
