Mark Cavendish - 14/1 to be Sports Personality of the Year

Mark Cavendish has been cut to 14/1 at Ladbrokes, from 50/1, to claim the Sports Personality of the Year Award, after winning stage 12 of the Tour de France.

It was the 23-year-old's third win of this year's race.

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “The sprint specialist is making a name for himself amongst British sports fans. -That regonition will only increase if he adds to his hat trick of wins.”
