Victory for the girl-band sees them just behind the Military Wives (1/2 favourites) in the race to top the festive charts - and sealed a miserable night for Britain's bookies. Little Mix had been favourites for the ITV hit show since November and Ladbrokes reckon punters collected over £200,000 in winning bets. David Williams of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro: "Little Mix fans kept the faith and favourite backers have stuffed their pockets with some Christmas cash. "Little Mix will serve it up to the Military Wives in the battle for the Christmas Number One race. We still reckon Gareth and the Wives are in pole position for now, however." Perrie Edwards is already odds-on to be the first member of Little Mix to record a UK top 40 solo album. "Perrie is the brightest star in the group and we're convinced she's got a massive future" added Williams. Kelly Rowland is out to 2/1 to return as a judge next year after leaving viewers and the bookies puzzled with some of comments on Finals night. "Kelly didn't leave a good impression and we doubt we'll see her again next year" said Williams.
