Ryan Tubridy is set to once again don a bright festive jumper for Friday's Late Late Show
RTE presenter Ryan Tubridy successfully brought back the ‘Gay’ ole days to the Late Late Show last year when he donned a novelty Christmas jumper for the annual Toy Show and this year Tubs is hotly tipped to do it again!
Paddy Power are quoting hot odds of 1/20 that Ryan will once again ditch the boring block colour jumper in favour of a funny wooly Christmas geansaí on Friday night’s show. The odds on him reverting to a plain jumper or suit jacket are unlikely at 7/1.
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power told Bettingpro:
“The problem is once you start these things the expectation is there every year. If Tubs doesn’t don a novelty jumper there’ll be questions asked. Ryan is a big kid at heart though so we reckon he’s only dying to get his geansaí on!”
As well as offering betting on what attire Tubs will wear, Paddy Power are tipping this year’s Toy Show to be a huge success and are offering 4/5 that viewing figures will increase on last year’s figure of 1.4 million.
The odds on Ryan breaking into song again on this year’s show are a short 4/5 while it’s 100/1 that he’ll announce there is no such thing as Santa Live on air!
