Golden Globe Betting – Meryl Streep odds shortened

Meryl Streep is fast becoming one of the best backed contenders for a Golden Globe in the last decade, William Hill have revealed.

The bookmaker originally offered 1/1 that she would win ‘Best Actress’ but are now 1/3, and William Hill believe that her odds could shorten further in the next couple of days.

Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams told Bettingpro.com: “Normally one favourite gets beaten but we are confident that it won’t be Meryl who misses out this time.”
