Sky Bet has opened a book on UK’s Eurovision representative
Six Eurovision hopefuls will go up against the public vote this Saturday to determine who will represent the UK at the annual Eurovision Song Contest. Bookmaker Sky Bet has installed girl group ‘The Revelations’ as the 7/4 favourite with their song, ‘It’s You’.
The soulful pop trio will be looking to beat X-Factor finalist, Andy Abraham, who is 5/2 to represent the nation in Serbia and 90s songstress, Michelle Gayle, who is installed at 11/2 to win on Saturday.
Helen Jacob, entertainment manager at Sky Bet, said: “The Revelations are a far cry from last year’s entry, Scooch. Let’s hope that the UK’s 2008 contender is strong enough to avoid that dreaded ‘nul point’ score.”
