Jedward are 4/6 to qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest final on 14 May
Twin hair-raisers Jedward have an excellent chance of winning this year’s Eurovision according to
Paddy Power who now make the Lucan twins just 20/1 to pull off a victory in Dusseldorf.
The singing siblings who have amassed a €3million fortune since being catapulted to fame on UK talent show the X Factor are now a positive 4/6 to qualify from the semi final on May 12th.
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power told Bettingpro: “The fact Jedward are drawn last in their semi final is fantastic news as they’ll stay fresh in the voters’ minds. Europe is fascinated by their crazy hairstyles and bouncy personalities and come May there’s a good chance John and Edward could blow them away!”
The first Eurovision Song Contest semi final takes place on May 10th with the second semi final airing on May 12th. The final will take place on Saturday 14th May.
Separately Paddy Power are also betting on what island Jedward will splash out on after the 19-year-olds claimed they wanted to buy an island with their earnings.
A fifty-five acre island in the Bahamas called ‘Big Fish Cay’ is the 4/1 favourite followed by Bottle Cay at 5/1. Inis Mor in Ireland is the bookies 500/1 outsider!
