William Hill's next Dr Who betting has had a massive shake-up in the last 24 hrs with Patterson Joseph the new favourite at 4/6. Hills have also seen money for Chiwetel Ejiofor who is now 6/1 and a female Dr offered at 8/1.

"This is one of the most volatile markets we have ever had and there seem to be a lot of people going in for screen tests but the money suggests that Patterson could pip the others to the post," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
