Sky Bet has cut the odds of pop hunk Gareth Gates from 10/3 to 9/4 making him the new favourite to win this year’s star-studded ‘Dancing On Ice’. He stands at the head of the betting market, narrowly followed by Hollyoaks hottie Chris Fountain and former Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw, both quoted at 5/2.  

Helen Jacob, Sky Bet’s entertainment manager, said: “Gareth was too cagey during his opening performance but this week he has really relaxed and found his feet.  He looked like a new man out on the ice and his good looks are sure to make him a hit amongst female viewers!”

According to the bookie, next Sunday’s show will be Aggie Mackenzie’s last performance, pricing her as the 2/1 favourite to be booted out of the rink.
