Dr Who is the surprise mover in the most watched TV programme for Christmas Day, according to William Hill.
The battle for Christmas ratings is always a big one and Doctor Who has been slashed from an original 5/1 to 5/4 joint favourite with Eastenders. Downton Abbey has drifted out to 5/1 from 13/8 with
William Hill.
Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams told Bettingpro.com: “Dr Who is the new joint favourite as it is not facing much competition on the other terrestrial channels but Downton now looks a massive price at 5/1.”
