William Hill customers seem convinced that Doctor Who will be the most watched TV programme on Christmas Day.

The legendary BBC show is now the 4/6 favourite to top the charts on December 25th, with Eastenders second at 2/1 and Downton Abbey a 4/1 shot.

William Hill also offer 25/1 that the Queen announces that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a child in the New Year during her Christmas Address.

Should she do so, it could be delivered to over nine million viewers, with Hills offering 11/10 that more than that number watch the show. She is also 1/10 to mention the upcoming Olympic Games.

Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams told Bettingpro.com: “Doctor Who has very little against it and as a result starts the favourite but as a closet Downton fan I can see the Doctor getting exterminated this Christmas.”

Latest William Hill Odds:

Queen Speech Viewers: 4/6 Under Nine Million, 11/10 Over Nine Million

William Hill 2011 Xmas TV: 4/6 Doctor Who, 2/1 EastEnders, 4/1 Downton Abbey, 20/1 The Gruffalos Child, 25/1 Coronation Street, 33/1 Strictly Come Dancing, 33/1 Absolutely Fabulous, 50/1 Bar
