This WrestleMania re-match will take place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, and it will, rather appropriately, be a Chicago Street Fight in which anything goes.

Jericho returned to the WWE earlier this year, telling fans this was “the end of the world as you know it”. The first ever Undisputed champion had been angered by Punk’s claims of being the “best in the world”, maintaining he was “the best in the world at everything I do”.

After months of verbal sparring they finally went head-to-head in front of a 78,000-plus crowd at WrestleMania 28 in Miami, and it was Punk who ran out the winner following a gripping contest, forcing Jericho to tap out to the Anaconda Vice.

However, that match did not end this feud as Jericho viciously assaulted Punk on RAW the following night, and in a desperate attempt to get under the champion’s skin he has now brought the Straight Edge star’s family into the matter.

Punk will get the chance to defend his family’s honour in their hometown on Sunday night, and Paddy Power make him their 4/7 favourite to retain his WWE title, with Jericho 5/4 to leave with the belt.

For this title defence Punk will be returning to the Allstate Arena, the scene of the biggest night in his career so far. At last year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, and on the final night of his contract, he rocked the WWE by beating John Cena for the WWE Championship before walking out through a jubilant crowd.

Punk’s absence from the company did not last long though, with WWE Chief Operating Officer, Triple H, quickly inking him to a new deal. Since then Punk has gone from strength-to-strength, and on Sunday night he will be determined to prove once again that he is the best in the world!
