Bookies see limited future for Big Brother

Coral bookmakers have once again seen a rush of money for the current series of Big Brother to be removed from terrestrial TV and have had to slash the price further, it is now only 6-4 (from 2-1) for it to be moved from Ch4 this year, and 1-2 (from 8-11) that the next series, if any, is not shown on the same channel.

"Although turnover was up considerably this week thanks to the huge gamble on Noirin to be evicted, it is still the special price we offer on the show to be terminated that is attracting most attention. We laid fortunes of our original 5-1 last week, and then after last night's fourth walk out, and negative press stories, we have had to chop the price to 6-4 as punters are convinced the end isn't far away" said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.

Noirin was the gamble of the series so far having been backed from 4-6 to 1-33 before the phone lines closed. House favourite Freddie has been eased to 13-8 to win, Siavash is next best at 3-1 and eviction survivor Marcus has been backed into 20-1 (from 28-1).
