Benedict Cumberbatch and Dominic West cannot be spilt apart in TV Bafta betting by leading bookmakers Ladbrokes.

The highly sought after best actor category is lead by Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch (7/4) and Dominic West (7/4) for his portrayal of Fred West in ITV's Appropriate Adult series. However, Ladbrokes cannot distinguish a favourite between the pair.

This Is England star Vicky McClure looks set to be given the nod in the leading actress category over Emily Watson (9/4), Nadine Marshall (3/1) and Romola Garal (3/1).

Staying put on Channel 4 it looks like Alan Carr's chatted his way towards winning the best entertainment performance award thanks to his hilarious and risqué interviews. His biggest rival comes from chat show host stalwart Graham Norton as the 2/1 second favourite.

Despite losing out to Coronation Street (6/4) at the National TV awards earlier this year it's Eastenders (evens) who are favoured to take the trophy home to Albert Square for an old fashioned knees up in The Queen Vic.

Jessica Bridge, spokesperson for Ladbrokes, told Bettingpro.com: “Benedict and Dominic are the clear housewives' favourite. It's early days but we anticipate there will be a nailed on favourite in every category sooner rather than later.”
