Shelbourne track record holder lands impressive quarter-final success

College Causeway is a top-priced 2/1 with sponsors Paddy Power to win the Irish Greyhound Derby after maintaining his unbeaten run in this year's competition with a superb quarter-final victory.

Pat Buckley's experienced campaigner burts through at the third bend to beat Shaneboy Lee by three lengths in a time of 29.47 - just 26 spots off the Shelbourne track record he set in the opening round.

The runner-up is 6/1 at best with Stan James to gain revenge in the decider, with Fairypoint Man second favourite at 5/1 there after his fast-finishing second to 14/1 chance Oran Classic.

Slip The Lark was a solid second in his heat and is 8/1 at Betfred to go one better than he did in this competition last year.
