Defending champion James Wade will take on young Bristolian Steve Brown on Monday, while Phil Taylor aims for a tenth crown beginning against Peter Wright in Dublin.
Wade, who claimed the title last year with a win over Adrian Lewis in the final faces a tricky opener against the ever improving Brown, founder of the Steve Brown Darts Academy.
