Jackpot stumbled over the line against Nigel Heydon in his opener, coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in an under par performance.
He faces Robert Thornton tonight, with 'The Thorn' recapturing something like his old form on the big stage after his first round victory.
Lewis is big odds to prevail over the long format and should have little problem seeing off the Scot shoudl he bring his 'A' game.
Opening the night are Wayne Jones and Dutchman Roland Scholten. Jones saw off prelim winner McKenzie in round one, while Scholten shocked Jamie Caven with a fine showing in the tournament's curtain raiser.
The Wolverhampton Wanderer is 3/10 with the title sponsors to make it into the last 16 and is rarely phased by the big occasions.
Scholten is on the road to recovery following a lengthy shoulder injury and will be looking climb back up the rankings with a good run in darts' showcase event.
Jones is 3/10 favourite, but should Scholten repeat his first round showing, there could be an upset on the cards.
Fleetwood ace Wes Newton takes on former cage fighter Justin Pipe to round off the night at Ally Pally.
Newton has fallen under the radar in this event after a fine performance in his first round game against Kurt van der Rijck.
He may be an outsider for the title and proved he can cut it at the top by reaching the UK Open final and climbing to seventh in the world this year.
His opponent is methodical thrower Justin Pipe; The Force has also enjoyed his best year on the tour this year, topping the Players Championship order of merit.
He was sluggish in his opening match however and will need to improve if he is to threaten The Warrior at 1/3 tonight.
Action gets underway at 7pm and will be streamed live from the Alexandra Palace, London over the best of seven sets (best of five legs per set).
