Nicknamed "The Hurricane", Huybrechts defeated Paul Nicholson to continue his phenomenal run and move into the quarter-finals. Ladbrokes refunded all losing match bets on favourite Nicholson after another 170 check-out in the match triggered the firm's latest concession. David Williams of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro: "We didn't lay a copper coin on Huybrechts before the tournament began and he's fast becoming our hero." James Wade remians the unchanged 9/2 third favourite following his afternoon session win. John Part is 16/1 for a fourth world title.
