Grand Slam of Darts Betting

Pete Culshaw - 13 Nov 2007

The Grand Slam of Darts begins this Saturday and Phil Taylor is unsurprisingly SportingBet's 5/2 favourite with Raymond van Barneveld just behind at 3/1.

The tournament has been devised to find the "greatest of them all" between both rival organisations although it's already suffered a setback with the news Lakeside world champion Martin Adams has opted to compete in the Winmau World Masters instead.

In Adams' absence, the main competition for Taylor and Van Barneveld will be from the likes of James Wade and Gary Anderson, who are priced up at 5/1 and 6/1 respectively.

Terry Jenkins and Adrian Lewis lead the outside charge at 16/1 while Merv King and John Part are just two of the dark horse contenders at 28/1.
