Premier League champion Gary Anderson takes on multiple major winner James Wade in the round two of the 2011 Grand Slam of Darts tonight.

Despite a rocky start, Anderson won through to the last 16 as group winner and faces Wade as a result of his second place finish behind Terry Jenkins.

Anderson admitted this week that he is 'sick of the game' and is 'fighting the demons', however bounced back from his defeat to Nigel Heydon with convincing wins over Brendan Dolan and Wayne Jones.

He will be looking for a repeat those performances and to avoid another early exit in a major televised event by seeing off the left hander tonight.

Last year's runner-up James Wade narrowly missed out on winning his group, after losing to Terry Jenkins in his final group game earlier in the week.

The Machine looks in good form however and has been tipped by many to challenge for the title come Sunday, motivated by his heartache in the final last year.

The pair last met in the Championship League darts, with Anderson prevailing 6-2 on that occasion.

The bookmakers make Anderson the slight favourite, priced at 4/5 with Bet365, as opposed to Wade at EVS   

The match gets underway at around 9pm and will be streamed live over the best of nineteen legs from the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.
