Martin Adams bidding to win his third BDO World Darts title after winning in 2010
Two time champion, Martin Adams, is the 10-3 favourite with
Coral bookmakers to win the BDO World Darts at the Lakeside Country Club in Surrey that gets under way on New Years Day.
Nicknamed Wolfie, Adams won the title in 2007 and again last year.
"Unlike the PDC version, the BDO event is always a very open contest," Coral spokesman Gary Burton told Bettingpro, "but once again Adams will prove a tough opponent to beat."
Recent Grand Slam of Darts winner, Scott Waites, is the 4-1 second favourite, with last year's runner up, Dave Chisnall, 13-2.
