Hankey already has two BDO world titles under his belt and will be eyeing a third after producing some of his best form to see off the likes of Scott Waites and Martin Atkins en route to this stage.
He is likely to be firmly tested by young star Christian Kist; the 25-year-old has proven to be the surprise package of the tournament, reaching the Semi-Finals having qualified for the event as an unknown world rank 106.
His power scoring and coolness on the big stage could prove too hot to handle for Hankey and the bookmakers feel it will be no real shock if Kist prevails tonight.
The action gets underway at 2.30pm from Frimley Green, with matches played over the eleven of nine sets.
