West Indies will begin their tour of India with a Test match from November 6 onward at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi.
This series follows India’s tour of West Indies earlier this year and will have the full quota of Tests and ODIs unlike England’s tour of India. England were only involved in five ODIs and will return back next year for the Test matches.
West Indies will play three Tests to begin with, followed by five ODIs. There will be no T20Is.
On India’s tour of West Indies, the visitors had won the Test series 1-0, and then took a 3-0 lead n the ODIs. However, West Indies did come back strongly to win the last two ODIs. West Indies would have had a fair idea of the conditions in the sub-continent after having being in Bangladesh for a three-ODI, two-Test series.
